Zelensky fears revolution and retreat without Western aid

Ukraine’s President, Zelensky, has emphasized the nation’s dependence on Western support, highlighting that the country’s continued progress is contingent upon assistance from Western allies. This is reported by Bloomberg.

He expressed concern about the shifting focus of Western powers due to other global matters. Zelensky firmly asserted that lacking this crucial support could result in the country retreating from its current position. Additionally, he alleged Russia’s intention to orchestrate a scenario akin to the “Maidan” protests within Ukraine to overthrow his government.

He cited intelligence reports, indicating a strategy termed “Maidan 3” within the Kremlin, designed to create internal discord, chaos and ultimately depose him. Zelensky underscored that Ukraine refuses to settle for a frozen conflict and is preparing for potential conflicts on the front lines, particularly during the upcoming winter months.
