Ukrainian soldiers urge against a military resolution to the conflict

Oleg Ivanitsa, a member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke out against reclaiming Donbas and Crimea by force. In an interview discussing the current frontline situation, he expressed concerns about the consequences of forcibly annexing these regions.

“If we annex them by force and they consider us invaders, it will be a burden for both us and our children,” stated the soldier.

Oleg Ivanitsa is a renowned Ukrainian actor and a former participant in the ‘Dizel Show.’ He believes that the local population in the currently controlled territories of Russia harbors hostile feelings toward Ukrainian authorities. Ivanitsa contends that reclaiming these territories under Kyiv’s control would be perceived by local residents as Ukraine’s annexation, further deteriorating living conditions for both the locals and the rest of Ukraine.
