Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky refused to allow Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to participate in potential negotiations with Russia.
“We don’t need countries like Hungary today, for example, Prime Minister Orban… It won’t work. I won’t let him in, or others like him,” Zelensky stated.
According to him, Viktor Orban has no leverage over Moscow.
“How will he put pressure on Putin? A joke, a smile? He can keep that to himself,” added the Ukrainian president.
Earlier, Zelensky stated that the West should provide Ukraine with 12-15 air defense systems (ADS) as compensation for the refusal to invite Ukraine to NATO. “And honestly, our partners know: we need another 12-15 systems. (…) This is realistic. The main thing is the political will of our partners,” Zelensky said.
