Trump demands that Zelensky agree to the peace plan right now
21.11.2025 - 05:33Yesterday, at a key meeting of the Servant of the People faction, MPs decided to keep the status quo: Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak remains in his post.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko following the closed faction meeting.
According to him, Yermak and faction leader Davyd Arakhamia sat on the presidium, and there were no open scandals. Only two MPs publicly raised the issue that Yermak should step down, one of them being Maryana Bezuhla.
In response, according to Honcharenko, Volodymyr Zelensky sharply cut her off, calling her “crazy” and telling her to “get lost” (strong profanity was used in the original). After that, the president made it clear that neither Yermak nor anyone else is going to resign: “We have difficult negotiations ahead. So we keep working.” The meeting ended there.
At the same time, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the plan to dismiss Servant of the People faction leader Davyd Arakhamia, allegedly pushed by Yermak himself, had failed. According to him, before the meeting Arakhamia and other MPs sent Zelensky a question from the faction that in fact contained a direct demand to “fire Ali Baba” (Yermak’s reported nickname). In response, the Presidential Office tried to seize the initiative and go on the offensive first, but support for this idea turned out to be minimal.
According to Zheleznyak, it became clear that they could not gather even 10% of the necessary votes for Arakhamia’s dismissal. As a result, the plan’s implementation was postponed, and the more critical MPs are now betting that “their colleagues will eventually push through this long-overdue issue.”
