“Zelensky refused to make concessions for the sake of peace,” – former NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg

Former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky flatly refused to make any territorial concessions in exchange for settling the conflict with Russia.

This was reported by AFP, citing Stoltenberg’s book “Under My Watch.”

“When I first hinted at a ‘Finnish solution’ to the war in Ukraine, Zelensky rejected the idea of ceding any territory,” Stoltenberg recalled.

Earlier, Zelensky stated that Russia would not be allowed to establish new borders for Ukraine. This was his response to a question on whether Kyiv was prepared to make territorial concessions to end the conflict.
