Poland detains Ukrainian man suspected of attempted assassination of Ukrainian defense industry representative
21.08.2026 07:36At a hearing of Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court, a prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office read out testimony according to which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally demanded the dismissal of a financial monitoring employee who had refused to process bail for Andriy Yermak.
This was reported by member of parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The SAPO prosecutor quoted the words of former MP Mykyta Mykytasy, which appear in the case materials:
“A financial monitoring officer is already calling, ringing off the hook. We ourselves are now thinking about how to do it. We open an account at another bank, receive financial assistance. Asked (Mykola) Gladyshenko not to fire the financial monitoring employee. Who is Gladyshenko — the head of the Supervisory Board (of Sens Bank), who came to see me. She didn’t want to process (the bail) for Yermak, and the president was screaming — not just shouting — to fire her.”
Thus, the case materials feature Mykola Gladyshenko — the head of the supervisory board of Sens Bank. According to the quote, it was he who was asked not to fire the financial monitoring employee.
Earlier, the SAPO prosecutor also named the individuals implicated in the case involving the seizure of Sens Bank. Among them are two employees of the Office of the President.
