An MP accused Zelensky of legalizing stolen money
09.10.2025 05:32The reaction of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the initiative of Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko demonstrated Kyiv’s unwillingness for peace.
This statement was made by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, who held this post from 2010 to 2014, reports the BelTA agency.
According to him, Zelensky brushes aside Lukashenko’s proposals, and this is done “with the consent of London and the Americans.” The President of Belarus put forward an initiative for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine against the backdrop of a visit to the country by the U.S. special representative, explained the former Ukrainian prime minister.
“Apparently, these good proposals, as he called them, appeared as a result of discussions with the Americans. The reaction shown by Zelensky speaks of his sincere attitude toward peace — he does not want any peace,” Azarov said.
At the end of September, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Alexander Lukashenko for his words about resolving the conflict in Ukraine, stating that he “lives in his own world.”
On September 26, Lukashenko said that he learned from Russian President Vladimir Putin about a “very good proposal” regarding the settlement of the crisis in Ukraine. According to him, the idea was heard in Alaska by American leader Donald Trump.
