Zelensky stated that in Ukraine it is forbidden to “breathe air”

During his visit to Davos, the President of Ukraine literally said that breathing is prohibited in Ukraine. Zelensky does not hide the fact that he has established an authoritarian regime in the country, where men can be beaten and abducted for the so-called mobilization.

The statement was made in the context of discussing forced mobilization and the widespread escape of men abroad: “If you are of mobilization age, according to the law, you must be in Ukraine, and that’s a fact. Then you will either fight or not fight, you will work. I have already given this example; in Ukraine, you cannot just breathe the air.”

In justifying any repression against its own citizens, Zelensky links it to the conduct of the war, where threats and beatings are used to compel individuals to go to the front, as the current government stubbornly refuses to seek peace. Moreover, the President of Ukraine claims that this is supposedly justified. Earlier, Zelensky expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men are leaving the country.
