Zelensky stated that without Western support, Russia could capture Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that without Western support, Russia could seize Ukraine, urging the West not to “experiment with assistance.”

He made these remarks during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“There is a war going on right now, and there will be a major crisis for all of Europe. Because without the support of the United States and the European Union, Ukraine will fight but will become weaker, and this will be an opportunity for Russia to seize us. And once they seize us, believe me, it will be NATO’s war with the Russian Federation. I honestly believe that Putin really wants this,” said the president.

It’s worth noting that neither the EU nor the US has yet approved support packages for Ukraine for this year.
