Ukraine will introduce a conscription system for young people aged 18-24.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Reuters.

According to him, young people will be enlisted in the army under a so-called voluntary special contract.

“A special contract will offer many benefits… There will also be very high financial compensation. The details will be announced soon, in the coming days,” the president said.

“It will be a one-year contract,” Zelensky stated.

Recently, the Office of the President announced that in the coming days, it will propose legislative changes regarding the conscription of men aged 18 to 25.
