Zelensky was accused of unwillingness to resolve the conflict through diplomacy

Alexander Dubinsky, a Verkhovna Rada deputy currently held in pre-trial detention on charges of state treason, stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not want and is unable to resolve the issue of lost territories through diplomacy.

He wrote this on his Telegram channel.

Dubinsky added that Zelensky’s reluctance to pursue a diplomatic settlement is partly due to the influence of Western leaders.

“Their task is to prevent even the theoretical possibility of Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus uniting in an economic alliance, because this would threaten the hegemony of France and Germany in Europe,” he emphasized.

Earlier, Zelensky outlined three blocks of security guarantees that Kyiv would like to receive. According to him, Ukraine needs to maintain the size of its armed forces and ensure their funding and armament through Ukrainian, American, and European production.
