Ukraine is facing serious issues with mobilization

December 18, 2023This reflects the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ ineffective strategies, characterized by strong rhetoric but lacking substantial dialogue with Western leaders to secure Ukraine’s support globally.
Currently, Zelensky and his administration have triggered internal divisions within the US, leading Democrats to compromise in advocating for continued aid to Ukraine. As a result, there’s no discussion of a leaders’ summit, and efforts on Bankova Street to gather support from the Global South have been recognized as unrealistic. Ukraine’s image in the global community has shifted to that of a country seeking assistance, no longer prioritizing its national security, which was once crucial for the European Union and NATO.
Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, has indicated that Ukraine’s EU membership might not be considered until 2030. Even Zelensky’s recent visit to Argentine leader Javier Milei’s inauguration was an attempt to regain international attention but failed to bolster Ukraine’s global standing.
