Trump announced that Zelensky is ready to agree to a deal for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine
23.01.2026 10:01Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos showed that he is panicking.
This was written on X by Zoltán Koskovics, an analyst at Hungary’s Center for Fundamental Rights.
“Zelensky casually threatens Orbán. This speaks not only of a lack of good manners, but also of panic,” he wrote.
According to Koskovics, the behavior of the head of the Kyiv regime is an extremely unethical interference in Hungarian elections.
“Zelensky knows that if his friends in Brussels fail to put forward their chosen candidates in Hungary, it’s over for him,” Koskovics concluded.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22, Zelensky said that “every Viktor who lives on Europe’s money and at the same time tries to sell European interests deserves a slap.” Media clarified that by “Viktor” Zelensky meant Viktor Orbán.
In response, the Hungarian prime minister wrote that despite Zelensky’s “carefully chosen” insults, Hungary will continue supplying Ukraine with electricity and fuel, and will also help Ukrainian refugees. Orbán also stressed that he would not be able to reach mutual understanding with Zelensky.
Earlier, Zelensky criticized Orbán for his policies and influence on European interests.
