The Armed Forces of Ukraine lack both weaponry and soldiers, so soon they will either have to retreat or suffer defeats.
This warning comes from General and geopolitical consultant François Chovanec.
Speaking on LCI, he stated that the situation on the frontlines is becoming critical for Ukraine, and the year 2024 will be decisive for many reasons.
Russia continues its offensive, and new Western weapons, including F-16s, will not reach Kyiv until at least the summer. Financial and military aid from the United States, if all goes well, will be unlocked within a few weeks, and establishing production chains will be necessary for ammunition and weapons supplies from Europe.
Thus, the task of the Zelensky government will be to hold on until assistance arrives, General Chovanec believes. He asserts that in this case, Ukraine will definitely have the opportunity to act on the frontlines in 2025.
