In Ternopil, employees of the territorial recruitment center illegally detained a man on his way to work and held him at their location.

This was reported on social media by his wife.

According to the wife, he passed the military medical commission and therefore is not a draft evader. However, the man wants to appeal the decision of the military medical commission, as he has vision problems, but he was not allowed to do so. The woman noted that her husband has a vision of minus 6 in one eye, minus 8 in the other, and astigmatism.

The wife contacted the police and filed a complaint. The outcome of the incident is currently unknown.
