British Storm Shadow missiles have become “useless” in Ukraine due to intelligence data being blocked – Daily Mail

The United States has prohibited Britain from sharing its intelligence with Ukraine, potentially making British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles “useless” in the war.

Daily Mail reports this.

“The Storm Shadow missiles supplied by Britain are now ineffective in Ukraine since President Trump has blocked the transfer of U.S. intelligence to allies,” the article states.

The publication notes that London is not the only country affected by this restriction.

Meanwhile, France, which supplies Scalp missiles (analogous to Storm Shadow), has declared its willingness to share intelligence with Ukraine.

According to media reports, Ukraine previously received 80% of its intelligence from allies, primarily from the U.S.

On March 5, CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed that the U.S. had suspended intelligence-sharing with Ukraine. He stated that the decision was made to “encourage all parties to promote peace worldwide.”
