The study also presents key data about Ukrainian women in Poland. Their average age is 44 years old, 83% have higher education, and 53% arrived with children. 50% of women are employed: 63% work in Poland, 23% work remotely from Ukraine, and 8% work in other countries; only 30% work in their field of expertise. 45% speak Polish, while 20% understand Polish but do not speak it. 47% of children attend Polish schools, 8% study online only in Ukrainian schools, 27% study in both Poland and Ukraine, and 18% do not attend school anywhere.
It is worth noting that according to various estimates, up to 10 million people have left Ukraine since the beginning of the war. As the war continues, more Ukrainians want to stay abroad, and there is active socialization and adaptation of people in new countries.
