90% will die: British newspaper The Times reported on the losses of the Ukrainian army during the offensive on the Southern Front

On the Southern Front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering high casualties.

This is reported by the British newspaper The Times.

The article is titled ‘Ukraine counteroffensive: ‘I’m ready to die . . . 90% of the guys here will die too’.

According to the publication, Ukrainian soldiers have revealed that their unit, tasked with “turning the tide on the Southern Front,” has already lost 75% of its personnel.

“Elite Ukrainian troops are describing the terrible price they are paying to break through Russian positions during the summer counteroffensive,” the article states.

“According to doctors assigned to various military units, the number of casualties is in the four-digit range. Ukrainian soldiers are questioning the ‘cost’ of such operations, considering the outcome in the form of small villages razed to the ground.”

“When I hear people sitting on their couches at home or abroad saying, ‘Oh, the Ukrainian army already has ‘Bradleys’ and ‘Leopards,’ now they’ll show the Russians what’s what,’ I shake my head with my hands. I wish they could come here and see the reality of our struggle,” quotes the publication the words of a Ukrainian serviceman.
