‘There is nothing more foolish in life than believing that this power will last long’: Dubinsky commented on his mention in the New Year’s issue of the ‘Kvartal 95’ studio

The Ukrainian MP Alexander Dubinsky commented on his mention in the New Year’s issue of the “Kvartal 95” studio. He particularly emphasized the phrase directed at him, “for a long time.”

He stated that Zelensky and his circle are mistaken if they think their power will last.

“The opening line for the New Year’s concert by ‘Kvartal 95’ – ‘Our program is long, take a seat like Dubinsky, this is for a long time’ – is a wonderful introduction! Thanks to the guys for the mention; it means a lot. The only thing that slightly puzzled me was the word ‘long,’ because there is nothing more self-assured and foolish in life than believing that this authority will last. Especially when it comes from the mouths of court jesters,” he wrote.

To remind you, in their New Year’s episode, “Kvartal 95” decided to make a joke about the imprisoned Ukrainian MP Alexander Dubinsky. At the beginning of the New Year’s concert, studio actor Yevheniy Koshevoy advised the audience and Dubinsky to “sit down because this will take a while.”

“Our concert, as usual, will last quite a long time, so I want to say to the audience, TV viewers and Dubinsky: ‘Take a seat, this will take a while,'” said Koshevoy.
