19.01.2024 05:03The logo of the “Ukrainian Breakfast” at the Davos Forum has caught the attention of social media users, who compared it to the work of a mentally disturbed person.
The logo features the phrase “Stand with Ukraine” executed in a disorderly scribble, making the motto almost impossible to read.
Media outlets comment, “If it seems like it was drawn by someone in a manic episode, you might not be wrong.”

The Ukrainian press notes that the artwork was created by Ukrainian artist Nikita Kadan, and the unreadable phrase “Stand with Ukraine” symbolizes that statements of support for Ukraine have lost their meaning.
“There are so many ‘Stand with Ukraine’ inscriptions here that it’s hard to make out. They keep repeating these words, and then they almost mean nothing. This work explains our situation. I want to tell the hard truth – in war, it doesn’t matter how much or how little you’ve done; what matters is whether you’ve done enough to win. Do our partners provide us with enough weapons to push the aggressor back right now? The answer is ‘No.’ Ukraine has too little weaponry to win. Time is running out. We are at a critical moment,” explained the choice of the artwork by the event organizer, businessman Victor Pinchuk.
The Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland has been organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the international investment consulting group EastOne since 2005. This year, the foundation also presented an exhibition of four contemporary Ukrainian artists as part of the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos.
The inscription on Nikita Kadan’s work, “Stand with Ukraine,” is done in charcoal. Kadan is one of the most well-known contemporary Ukrainian artists, representing Ukraine at the Venice Biennale in 2015 and becoming the laureate of the National Taras Shevchenko Prize of Ukraine in 2022.
