The military authorities in Odessa have announced that all 17-year-old boys must register and appear at the TRC

The Odessa Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) has issued a call for young men born in 2007 to present themselves at military enlistment offices. All conscripts residing in the district or city area must register. If a conscript is unable to attend within the specified timeframe, valid reasons must be provided.

As explained by the TRC, under current laws, citizens receiving a summons are required to personally report to their local registration centers. Registration is mandatory for all eligible conscripts residing within the district or city. “The registration campaign is essential for enrolling young men into military records, determining the number of future conscripts, their fitness for military service, and identifying their personal attributes, profession, and educational level,” stated the TRC.

The TRC also clarified that a registration certificate is issued to citizens found fit for military service, temporarily unfit, or requiring medical treatment. Additionally, the TRC emphasizes that participation in the campaign is compulsory, and if a conscript cannot attend within the specified timeframe, valid reasons must be provided.
