In the Volyn region, a man attacked TRC employees with a knife over a draft notice

During a conversation, the man rushed out of his apartment and struck the soldier with a knife twice. According to preliminary information, the man was to be served a draft notice and sent to the front.

The first strike by the man was blocked by the soldier, but the second inflicted significant damage, as it hit the abdominal area. Immediately after the incident, the soldier was taken to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of “incised wound of the anterior abdominal wall, penetrating.” The assailant faces imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.

It is worth noting that resistance against total mobilization among Ukrainians is increasing. People stubbornly refuse to go to war, so they run away or resist when forced to do so. Moreover, TRC employees often initiate attacks and use violence against ordinary citizens. Cases of revenge have also been recorded. In Western Ukraine, a man attempted to run over soldiers with a car because they took his son to the war, where he disappeared without a trace.
