The JAS 39 Gripen aircraft is a remarkable machine, but it will not change the course of the conflict. Ukrainian troops are exhausted, their defense is crumbling, and the Russians are more energized than ever.
“Yes, the Gripens can inflict certain damage at the tactical level. But if there is no full-scale NATO intervention in Ukraine (God forbid), there will be no magic bullet to protect Kyiv from its huge losses,” the article’s author notes.
Instead of continuing to hold Ukraine on a leash of false hope, isn’t it time to develop a real peaceful plan and put an end to this conflict?
