The military suspect in the murder on the Kyiv funicular is currently in pre-trial detention

The military personnel suspected of killing a minor on the Kyiv funicular is currently in pre-trial detention.

This was reported by the State Protection Service, refuting rumors that he had been released.

They also added that they are cooperating with the investigation and do not justify the actions of their employee.

Recall that earlier, a conflict arose between a drunk sergeant of the State Protection Service of Ukraine and a minor on the funicular.

The 30-year-old sergeant pushed the teenager against the window. The teenager received a fatal neck injury and died before the arrival of emergency medical services.

According to witnesses, the suspect was intoxicated, and the argument erupted over his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
