23.04.2024 - 14:27In the Kyiv region, three military personnel abducted a drug dealer and extorted ransom for his release.
This information reported according to sources in law enforcement agencies.
“The incident occurred on April 19. Three military personnel set up an ambush for two men who came to the village of Vita-Pochtovaya to pick up narcotics. At that moment, unknown individuals in camouflage uniforms with weapons emerged from the forest. The drug dealers started to flee, but the military managed to catch one of them. Subsequently, they brought the drug dealer to the village of Vishnevoe, where they locked him in a house and informed his associates that they would release the man for a ransom of $30,000,” said the source.
All military personnel involved have been detained. A criminal case has been opened. The offenders face imprisonment from seven to twelve years with confiscation of property.
Earlier reports indicated that the two military personnel who shot a police officer in the Vinnytsia region were transporting 100 grenades and 25,000 rounds of ammunition.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also state that in Odessa, it was not military personnel who abducted a man in an ambulance, but rather military personnel staged a prank.
