24.04.2024 - 08:00Ukrainians will be cut off from the country for 10 years due to the refusal of consular services.
This said Ukrainian Member of Parliament and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, during a parliamentary session.
“Those who manage to do it now will get a passport, but those who don’t will just give up and obtain a passport from another country. And you will lose an entire generation,” the MP said.
Recall that the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it will resume consular services for men of conscription age abroad on May 18, 2024, following the enactment of the mobilization law “taking into account new requirements arising from the provisions of the law.”
In turn, the Ukrainian consulate in London confirmed that all foreign diplomatic missions have stopped accepting new applications for consular actions from men of conscription age.
