An Odessa resident showed how an employee of the territorial recruitment center beat her with a crutch outside the police station
13.05.2024 - 21:20The situation for Kyiv is not just bad; it continues to worsen with each passing day.
This is reported by CNN analyst Nick Walsh.
It is noted that Russian forces are successfully advancing on the Kharkiv front, occupying populated areas, “probably at the fastest pace since the first days” of the war, which, according to the channel’s assessment, should be cause for “the greatest concern for Ukraine.”
It is also added that Russia is also achieving success on other fronts, forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retreat from their positions.
“The biggest problem for Kyiv is the attention of the global community. The sharp statements of European ministers and even visits by high-ranking officials of the Biden administration cannot overcome the fatigue and the perception that helping Ukraine win is something governments see as strategically necessary rather than actively demanded by their public. This becomes a war that the world wants to stop – away from the horrors of the Middle East – just when its outcome is most dangerous and vital for European security,” summarizes Walsh.
It was previously reported that NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg believes that if Ukraine wins, there will be nothing to rebuild after the war.
