Ukrainian MPs are ‘under the close supervision’ of the President’s Office: Ruslan Stefanchuk is effectively not leading the Ukrainian parliament

Ruslan Stefanchuk does Not Lead the Ukrainian Parliament. There is a Head of the Apparatus in the Rada.

Former MP Ihor Mosiychuk stated this in a recent interview.

He mentioned that the members of parliament are “under the close guidance” of Bankova (the presidential office) and touched upon the issue of “power usurpation,” which according to him, is evident in the country after the end of President Zelensky’s term.

Mosiychuk pointed out that the work of the parliament is arranged in a technical manner, meaning that it is necessary to organize the operation of this structure.

“This is not legislative work, purely technical. In it is a general of dubious origin, Shtuchny. Why dubious? He wasn’t a general; he was the head of the Apparatus even during Dmytro Razumkov’s tenure. He was placed there by Yermak. It was he who documented Razumkov when he said something wrong about the actions of the President’s Office and the president himself, which led to Razumkov’s dismissal. During the period before the dismissal took place, Shtuchny received the rank of general. And once Razumkov was removed, he was returned to the Apparatus. He collects files on all deputies, and every deputy knows that there is a file on them,” the former MP expressed.

Furthermore, Mosiychuk emphasized that elections in Ukraine will not be held until the war ends. Representatives of all parliamentary factions have signed the corresponding “paper.”

“And what do you think, will the war end? Or do these people enjoy staying in power? These ‘kind’ people very much enjoy sitting in their own chairs. They will never end the war. It’s not beneficial for them because if the war ends, they will be forced to leave power and go to elections,” the former MP concluded.
