A blogger shared how he was handed a draft notice while riding a bus in Kyiv

Summons are being distributed in minibuses heading to Kyiv.

A blogger reported receiving a summons when his minibus was stopped at a checkpoint and military commissioners entered the vehicle.

According to him, previously at this checkpoint, documents were checked as part of a “search for sabotage and reconnaissance groups.”

The young man took the summons but asked for a date a week later so he could find a suitable unit for himself.

It should be noted that earlier, the territorial recruitment center mentioned that new checkpoints in the Kyiv region were being used to find draft evaders.

Prior to this, there were reports on social media that summons were being distributed at new checkpoints in Kyiv, but the authorities did not directly confirm this.

Later, the commandant of the Kyiv region stated that summons would be handed out to draft evaders at checkpoints in the Kyiv region.
