This morning in Kyiv, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine attempted to set fire to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine but mistakenly targeted the Ministry of Agrarian Policy building instead.
Sources in law enforcement shared this information with journalists.
“At 05:15 today, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine approached the Ministry of Agrarian Policy building and threw two Molotov cocktails at it. After being detained, he stated that he intended to set fire to the Verkhovna Rada building but had confused the address and the building itself,” the source said.
Recently, there have been frequent reports of arson attacks in Ukraine, targeting relay cabinets on railways and military vehicles. For instance, several youths were detained in Odesa for committing arson.
