Ukrainians criticized President Volodymyr Zelensky under a post congratulating citizens on Ukraine’s Constitution Day.

In his address on the occasion of Constitution Day, Zelensky noted that each day of Ukrainian resistance against Russian armed aggression is a fight not only for sovereign territories but also for sovereign rights and human rights. It is a struggle for the principles by which Ukraine lived before the war and will live after victory.

He recorded this address at the railway station in Lviv on his way from Kyiv to Brussels. The President reminded that this city was one of the first to welcome Ukraine’s international partners and received Ukrainian people and evacuation trains from the first days of the war.

In the comments, users reproached the President for the perceived failure to uphold the Constitution of Ukraine, the lack of elections, the fact that people are “being packed into vans by representatives of territorial recruitment centers,” and that borders are closed.
