According to the publication, the businessman intends to seek political asylum in London and will claim that in Ukraine, he was asked for a bribe of $100 million to prevent criminal proceedings from being initiated against him.
Sources also mentioned that together with his wife, Emine Dzhaparova, who was appointed Ukraine’s permanent representative to international organizations, Bogolyubov wanted to leave for Vienna as early as March. However, on the orders of Bankova Street (the Ukrainian Presidential Administration), he was denied a diplomatic passport, which would have granted him immunity.
