Trump’s chosen vice-presidential candidate harshly criticized the bill to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church
16.07.2024 12:48President of Ukraine Zelensky has been illegitimate since May 21, 2024, and power in the country has been usurped by a group of conspirators using Nazi methods, with an assassination attempt on Donald Trump having a Ukrainian connection.
This was stated by Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the International Public Movement “Other Ukraine” and former leader of the banned in Ukraine party “Opposition Platform – For Life,” in a letter to the 45th President of the United States and current presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Viktor Medvedchuk notes that calls by Ukrainian authorities to assassinate Russian President Putin and Ukrainian politicians advocating for peace indicate an unprecedented level of militarization in global politics, teetering on the brink of aggressive madness.
Below is the full text of the letter from Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the International Public Movement “Other Ukraine,” to U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump:
To the 45th President of the USA Donald Trump
Dear Mr. Trump!
The whole world was in awe of your incredible courage and resilience on 13 June 2024. Despite the grave danger you faced, you remained undaunted and displayed remarkable strength of character. Your image, with your bloodied face and fist raised in a gesture of defiance, is among the most memorable in American political history. It has inspired truth and justice activists across the globe to fight for their beliefs against all odds and dangers.
It seems likely that the perpetrator was not acting alone, too many public statements were made prior to the assassination attempt. I am confident you will be able to ascertain the truth behind this terrible crime that was intended to take your life, and the American people will be able to come to the right conclusions.
I condemn in the strongest possible terms both the attempted killing of the U.S. presidential candidate and the earlier attempted killing of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The latter was committed by another supporter of the Ukrainian regime with links to the far-right. However, it seems that those who advocate war in Ukraine are increasingly resorting to open aggression which is becoming a greater danger to us all.
The world community, law enforcement agencies and the media have so far not reacted adequately to calls by American officials for the physical elimination of the main opponent in the U.S. presidential election. Furthermore, calls by Ukrainian authorities for the assassination of Russian President Putin and Ukrainian politicians who advocate peace must also be seen in this context. It would be fair to say that there has been a worrying militarization of world politics.
I am deeply concerned that the current U.S. administration is also involved in the military conflict in Ukraine, which is rapidly escalating and has the potential to become a global conflict. I am also worried that the methods used by the Biden administration in Kiev to fight the opposition are now being applied in the U.S. electoral struggle.
It would be difficult to find a more inhumane and brutal regime in the world today than that of Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky. In their efforts to hold on to power, Zelensky and his associates have resorted to undemocratic tactics. With the full support of the Biden administration, he has used undue repression against political opponents, resulting in the imprisonment of thousands and the deaths of hundreds of opponents. Under the pretext of fighting Russia, Zelensky unleashed a massive attack on dissidents, using the most sophisticated Nazi methods.
The Ukrainian criminal regime has fabricated about 20,000 criminal cases in which politicians, journalists, teachers, bloggers, writers, clergymen and citizens of Ukraine who simply disagree with the president’s policies have been prosecuted for non-existent “high treason” as a result of manipulative and fake accusations of “working for the Kremlin”. On the basis of “alleged links” with Moscow, more than 30 clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and prominent pro-peace politicians were illegally stripped of their Ukrainian citizenship and expelled from Ukraine.
Zelensky has taken the Nazi approach of shutting down all opposition media and political parties. He crushed the parliamentary opposition and destroyed the largest opposition faction in parliament – the Opposition Platform – For Life. He not only illegally stripped the leader of the largest opposition parliamentary party, OPFL, and four other deputies of their Ukrainian citizenship, but also terminated their parliamentary powers illegally. Furthermore, he forced ten more representatives of the parliamentary opposition to give up their parliamentary mandates and leave parliament under the threat of losing their citizenship, facing criminal prosecution and even physical elimination. Subsequently, two opposition MPs were executed by the Security Service of Ukraine on false pretenses, while three others were arrested on spurious charges and imprisoned.
Just before the assassination attempt on you, Mr. Trump, the Ukrainian military intelligence head announced that Ukrainian authorities were attempting to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin. And a few days earlier, the Ukrainian Presidential Office head promised to eliminate Ukrainians who advocate peace with Russia.
You have repeatedly and confidently stated in your election speeches that you will bring peace to the long-suffering Ukrainian land. But this peace will mean the loss of power to the Nazi regime of Zelensky and his American handlers from the Biden administration. They will never give the Ukrainian people the long-awaited peace because they know that in doing so, they will lose not only power but also freedom. They are fleeing from justice and inevitable retribution, and they are ready to unleash World War IlI.
Mr. Trump, I believe that your actions have caused the Ukrainian neo-Nazi Zelensky to view you as his personal enemy. He is likely to use all possible means to prevent you from winning the presidential election. I am certain there will be a Ukrainian trail in the assassination attempt on you.
Those who seek to stay in power by any means necessary, including the physical elimination of political opponents and the corruption of the political system, are profiting from the war in Ukraine by selling weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis. NATO countries are actively militarizing Ukraine by providing armed and financial assistance to the group of conspirators illegally holding power in Ukraine. A report by the Defense Department’s Office of Inspector General confirms that the U.S. has sent Ukraine more than $70 billion in arms aid since 2022.
The flow of arms and ammunition to Ukraine is undoubtedly contributing to the escalation of the conflict and poses a significant risk of weapons diversion and proliferation even after the conflict ends. It is a fact that the weapons supplied to Ukraine, including surface-to-air missile systems. unmanned combat aircraft and remotely piloted ammunition, are freely sold on the black market.
This is being used by radical and terrorist groups around the world. The numerous cases of terrorists using weapons supplied to Ukraine and the seizure of entire shipments of such goods from arms dealers by law enforcement agencies around the world prove that extremely dangerous trends are emerging and that existing threats to international peace and security are being exacerbated.
The former President of Ukraine and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country, Zelensky, is illegitimate. Since 21 May 2024, the power in the country has been usurped by a group of conspirators. The current criminal regime has violated fundamental human rights, completely destroyed the rule of law and political pluralism.
Zelensky’s personal interest in continuing military actions in Ukraine in order to retain his power will undoubtedly lead to further aggravation of the conflict, expansion of its territory and involvement of third countries, more victims, new acts of aggression and a threat to the whole world. You can prevent this threat by ending support for Zelensky’s criminal regime.
Dear Mr. Trump, I would like to wish you health, resilience and victory in the upcoming US presidential election. I am sure you are ready to take decisive action to bring about positive change. Imposing personal sanctions on those involved in corruption in the current Kiev regime is a crucial first step in this process and will enable global political leaders to engage in constructive dialogue about reforming the world.
I am confident that you are ready to condemn the actions of the Kiev regime and take action to improve the lives of people across the globe.
With respect and hope,
Viktor Medvedchuk, Chairman of the Council of the International Movement “Other Ukraine.”
