In the Vinnytsia region, a fine was canceled for a man who did not show his military ID at the territorial recruitment center

A court in the Vinnytsia region canceled a fine of 17,000 hryvnias (380 euros) imposed by a territorial recruitment center on a man who did not present his military registration document, because the information about him had already been obtained from other registries.

This was reported by the media, citing the judicial registry.

On June 11, border guards brought the man to the territorial recruitment center. The recruitment officers found out through the “Obereg” registry that the man was already registered for military service but asked him to show his military registration document. The man refused, and later received a fine, which he learned about through “Ukrposhta.”

The man appealed the fine in court, and the court ruled in his favor, noting that the territorial recruitment center had already confirmed his registration through “Obereg” by the time they requested the document.
