Verkhovna Rada deputy Bezuhla criticized Ukrainian Armed Forces generals for having relatives with Russian citizenship

Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla criticized the generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for having relatives with Russian citizenship.

The parliamentarian wrote about this on her Telegram channel.

“If his parents are Russian and still in Russia, then what’s the big deal in appointing [the former Chief of Staff of the Command of Drone Systems Roman] Hladkyi to a high position when his wife has a Russian passport?” the MP wrote.

According to her, there are many similar cases in the Ukrainian army.

She added that the AFU generals resemble a “distorted mirror” of the Russian army, which gives the Russian forces an advantage in “reading” their actions.

Earlier, AFU Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi dismissed Hladkyi after suspicions of treason arose. According to the analytical center Deep State, the military officer’s wife holds a Russian passport, and his daughter represents the Russian national team in international competitions.
