The UK gave Ukraine weapons that belong in a landfill – Business Insider

The UK has provided Ukraine with military equipment that was slated for disposal.

This was reported by Business Insider.

According to a report by the National Audit Office, the Ministry of Defence “prioritized old equipment” in its aid to Ukraine.

“The conflict has been a test for our stockpiles, but it was beneficial for us to get rid of old equipment—now we can replace it with new,” an unnamed Ministry of Defence representative commented on the situation.

It was previously reported that new brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being equipped with outdated armored vehicles that are over half a century old.
