In the Volyn region, employees of the territorial recruitment center and the police forcibly detained a 22-year-old student who was not subject to mobilization
18.09.2024 08:15Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, denies that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “victory plan” involves freezing military actions along the front line.
He discussed this on the air of the TV channel “Current Time.”
“There is no freezing of the conflict because it will not lead to the end of the war as such, but will only give Russia the opportunity to accumulate additional resources and continue. Therefore, there are certainly no concepts of conceding territories, nor any concepts of freezing the conflict,” stated the advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to him, Kyiv is ready to end the war only through Russia’s defeat. Among the points in Zelensky’s plan is an operation in the Kursk region.
“This, firstly, will significantly influence the social sentiments in Russia. Secondly, it will put considerable pressure on Putin’s entourage and lead to the end of this war,” Podolyak said.
Over the weekend, *Bild* published its version of Zelensky’s “victory plan,” which the Office of the President of Ukraine called fake. That version mentioned long-range strikes and the possibility of freezing hostilities in certain sections of the front.
