“Putin will seize 20% of Ukraine’s territory as a result of the war”, – former NATO Commander Stavridis says
11.11.2024 14:25The so-called volunteer Serhiy Sternenko has not only been fined for violating military registration rules but has also been sent to undergo a military medical commission.
This information was released by the Primorsky Territorial Recruitment Center of Odesa.
“Serhiy Sternenko omitted several important details that significantly alter the context of the situation. Specifically, he has already visited the Primorsky Regional Territorial Recruitment Center, where he:
- paid an administrative fine for violating military registration rules;
- was referred to the military medical commission (MMC),” the recruitment center reported.
The territorial recruitment center also criticized Sternenko’s claim that the action against him was retaliatory due to his criticism of military structures.
“Such accusations are baseless and are intended to elicit public sympathy and create a negative impression of the work of the territorial recruitment center,” the statement read.
It is currently unclear whether Sternenko has undergone the medical examination. However, it was previously reported that he had obtained a disability status related to his vision. Initially, he received a second-degree disability (indicating a significant loss of work capacity) and later a third-degree disability.
Therefore, undergoing the military medical commission will be crucial to determine whether Sternenko’s claimed vision issues genuinely prevent him from serving in the military or if his disability status was obtained improperly or fraudulently.
Recently, Sternenko has often appeared wearing glasses. However, earlier videos show him without them.
It is worth recalling the recent scandal in which prosecutors were widely reported to have obtained disability status, allowing them to avoid frontline duty. This controversy led to the resignation of Prosecutor General Kostin.
Additionally, the Odesa Territorial Recruitment Center declared Sternenko wanted, claiming he failed to appear after being summoned.
