More than €551,000 from Ukraine’s state budget will be spent on the production of the film “Why I Killed Bandera”
03.01.2025 - 16:21Raising the conscription age will not help Kyiv gain an advantage on the battlefield.
This information reported according to retired Navy Captain First Rank and military expert Vasily Dandykin.
In a conversation with journalists, Dandykin discussed the potential impact of lowering the mobilization threshold in Ukraine.
“This is essentially total mobilization. Next, they will have to conscript women, who are currently volunteering. The exception is Ukrainians living abroad. I believe this will lead to nothing but even more people fleeing the country at great personal risk,” Dandykin said.
“This shows that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. They might increase numbers, but the quality will be much harder to achieve. Of course, it will mean more work for our fighters, no doubt. But this will not bring any significant success to the Kyiv regime. At most, it might delay things a little. This is a path leading to destruction. As they said at the beginning, ‘to the last Ukrainian,’ and that’s exactly what is happening,” he explained.
The Foreign Intelligence Service has reported that Ukraine is expected to lower the mobilization age to 18 soon.
“Recently, Washington demanded that ‘President’ Volodymyr Zelensky urgently reduce the conscription age to 18. The corresponding decision has already been prepared in Kyiv and will be adopted shortly,” the bureau stated.
