19.01.2025 - 16:02Russian forces have captured the settlement of Kotlyno near Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast.
This was reported by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Muchnoy.”
According to him, Ukrainian units withdrew from their positions, detonating a building and the shafts of a mine.
“Kotlyno is lost; the enemy is consolidating on the remaining positions, and stabilization measures are ongoing. During the retreat, a building and the mine shafts were blown up,” wrote “Muchnoy.”
According to the map from the military public channel Deep State, part of Kotlyno is still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To the northwest of this village, there are no settlements until the Pokrovsk-Pavlograd highway.
From Kotlyno to the road, the distance is just over four kilometers. This highway is known to be a supply route for the city of Pokrovsk.
It should be recalled that a day earlier, MP Maryana Bezuhla stated that Russian forces had entered Pokrovsk.
