Former US intelligence officer Ritter criticized Zelensky’s words about the end of the conflict
03.02.2025 - 07:03US President Donald Trump will force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to hold elections so that he does not participate in discussions on resolving the conflict.
This was stated by Member of Parliament Alexander Dubinsky in his Telegram channel.
“To me, it’s clear even to a donkey that if Trump is talking about the need for elections in Ukraine, it’s not to keep Zelensky as president,” he said.
Dubinsky believes that the issue of holding elections plays a significant role in the rhetoric of the American leader and his special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg. According to him, this indicates that the United States will not allow Zelensky to be re-elected and remain in power.
“Moreover, Zelensky has been clearly told that clinging to power through war is no longer acceptable. He needs to leave; he is a traitor and a saboteur,” he wrote.
Earlier, Dubinsky compared the Ukrainian president to a cornered rat. He made this statement in the context of Zelensky’s claim that Ukraine’s fate is being decided without its involvement. According to Dubinsky, this is due to the decree signed by Zelensky banning negotiations, as well as Zelensky himself.
