The social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk, a billionaire and associate of the U.S. president, has been unavailable to most users worldwide for over three hours.
Reports accompanied by screenshots showing unresponsive pages of the social network have spread across Telegram channels.
Shortly afterward, company owner Elon Musk announced that platform X had been subjected to a large-scale cyberattack.
According to him, resources from a highly coordinated group or even an entire nation were involved.
Musk also mentioned the presence of “Ukrainian IP addresses” connected to the massive cyberattack targeting his social network X.
Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Ukraine of a cyberattack against the country’s national insurance company.
