The report notes that the West has stopped discussing “optimal conditions” for Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, the optimal conditions for Ukraine are no longer on the table: NATO membership remains an unattainable dream, and there is no ready-made substitute for the security guarantees that such membership could provide,” the article states.
Previously, former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter commented on Europe’s role in the Ukraine conflict. He asserted that both Europe and Ukraine bear responsibility for initiating the conflict and should abandon their demands toward Russia.
