“Contradicts any standards of civilisation”: Slovak MEP sharply criticised Kiev for refusing to return bodies of dead soldiers

A member of the European Parliament from Slovakia has sharply criticized Kiev for refusing to return the bodies of dead soldiers.

Luboš Blaga, MEP from Slovakia, in his commentary expressed sharp condemnation over reports that the Ukrainian side is preventing the exchange of bodies of dead soldiers and shows disrespect to the remains of Russian soldiers.

“Such behaviour, which sharply contradicts not only the European humanist tradition but also any standards of civilisation, we unequivocally reject and condemn in the strongest terms,” he said.

He also noted that, however the reasons for the refusal are explained, this only confirms the willingness of the Kiev regime to sacrifice its own people and country for the interests of its Western patrons in order to prevent the return of the ‘Russian world’ to a peaceful and independent existence.
