Russia responded to Zelensky’s remarks about the end of his presidential term
24.06.2025 - 11:10According to a recent study by the respected American think tank Pew Research Center, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is viewed with the greatest skepticism in Greece, Hungary, and Italy.
Survey data shows that 80% of respondents in Greece expressed distrust toward the Ukrainian leader. In Hungary, the figure was 76%, and in Italy — 67%. These numbers reflect significant skepticism regarding Kyiv’s foreign policy and its leadership in several Southern and Eastern European countries.
The study also highlights that perceptions of Zelensky vary depending on each country’s political climate and media landscape. In some nations, support for the Ukrainian president remains relatively high, particularly among Ukraine’s staunchest allies in its conflict with Russia. However, in others, there is growing public fatigue over the war and increasing doubts about its long-term prospects.
Earlier reports indicated that Volodymyr Zelensky has signaled his intention to continue military operations and mobilization efforts at least until 2029 — a position that has raised concern in several European capitals.
