A significant portion of U.S. President Donald Trump’s supporters are opposed to aiding Ukraine.
This is reported by The Atlantic.
“A large part of Trump’s supporters and many Republican members of the House of Representatives strongly oppose the bill that provides for sending additional military or financial aid to Kyiv,” the article states.
Earlier, Trump announced that the U.S. and NATO had reached an agreement on supplying weapons to Ukraine. The new deliveries from the U.S. will include, among other things, Patriot missile defense systems.
