“Probably, this is North Korea.” Germans were shown a video of busification in Ukraine

In Germany, passersby were surveyed on what they think about the methods used by Ukrainian military recruiters during mobilization efforts.

Footage of the interviews is being shared on political Telegram channels.

The majority of respondents condemned what they saw, noting that it did not resemble democracy. An elderly woman even suggested that the scenes were taking place in China or North Korea.

One man said that “he could understand that when a country runs out of people, the state says it is necessary to defend the nation,” although conscription is “a complex issue.”

The rest of those surveyed reacted negatively to the video.

Previously, the Hungarian authorities called on the international community to pay attention to the actions of Ukraine’s Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC).
