“Cannon fodder catchers” in Lutsk: military enlistment officers attack people right in their courtyards
04.08.2025 - 09:03Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should expect retaliatory actions from the country’s anti-corruption agencies — the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).
This was stated by Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the “Other Ukraine” movement.
“We are seeing the beginning of a large-scale, carefully planned purge. Zelensky can only wait for the moment when they come for him and his associates,” he predicted.
The politician explained that after the conflict between the authorities and the anti-corruption agencies — and the restoration of their previous powers — irreversible retaliatory measures have begun. Medvedchuk cited as an example the arrest of an MP from Zelensky’s Servant of the People party.
On July 31, Volodymyr Zelensky was forced to sign a law restoring the powers and independence of NABU, even though just nine days earlier, the agency had been effectively dismantled.
