“Military commissars cannot use force against Ukrainians during mobilization,” — ombudsman
05.08.2025 - 20:02Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, currently held in a pre-trial detention center on charges of treason, has claimed that President Volodymyr Zelensky and his chief of staff Andriy Yermak are deliberately steering Ukraine toward capitulation.
He made the statement on his Telegram channel.
According to Dubinsky, Western countries’ promises of support for Ukraine will remain empty words, unbacked by action.
“The situation at the front is constantly deteriorating, which will sooner or later lead to a tragedy. I do not rule out that Yermak and Zelensky are fully aware of this and are steering toward it deliberately, to make it easier for themselves to decide on capitulation — something they are systematically leading Ukraine toward,” he wrote.
Earlier, Dubinsky named the condition for Ukraine’s capitulation to Russia, saying that the United States would accept Kyiv’s surrender if the idea were voiced by Zelensky himself.
