MP Bezuhla urged Ukrainians to prepare for a blackout and a harsh winter
01.09.2025 05:03Men aged 18–22 who are wanted by the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) are not being allowed to leave Ukraine.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.
“Border guards have access to the Obereg system to check whether individuals are evading the requirement to update their personal records. Several citizens have been denied exit because they are on the wanted list,” Demchenko said.
It should be recalled that after permission to leave was granted, queues formed at border checkpoints. Authorities deny that there is a mass exodus of men under 22.
At the same time, in a street survey, Ukrainian men unanimously said they wanted to leave the country after the government allowed men aged 18–22 to travel abroad. They stated that “there is no development here.”
The survey was conducted in Kyiv on the eve of the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision coming into force, but after it had already become known.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine explained which documents are required for traveling abroad.
